Introduction - Advocacy Case Studies
This selection of case studies provides examples of the wide range of concerns and complaints that consumers have when using health and disability services. They also show how advocates can assist consumers to resolve their complaints and help educate providers to take a consumer-centred approach.
The case studies are completely anonymous and any names used have been changed to respect confidentiality. The consumers whose cases are presented have all agreed for their stories to be used for educational purposes.
